for some reason I was under the impression that Catching Fire would start shooting sometime in July or early August

but apparently shooting doesn’t start until September

The Capitol seal on a wing glows clearly through the flames. “Fire is catching!” I am shouting now, determined that he will not miss a word. “And if we burn, you burn with us!”

Victors are supposed to have it all, but in his victory he was left with nothing.

and then was forced to watch the children he was responsible for die time and time again.

Katniss and Peeta had eachother. they had both been through the games. they both knew what it was like and how it had affected eachother.

but Haymitch was alone. He couldn’t talk to anyone about his games. there was no one he could relate to and no one could relate to him. he didn’t have another individual to shoulder his grief and pain.

he was completely, and utterly alone.

and UGHHHH HAYMITCH I’M SO SORRY.
